Milan · A private collectors’ car initiative

Do not simply own
the car. Advance it.

The Gino Motta Collectors Car Fund

Created in memory ofLuigi “Gino” Motta · 1932–1961

The proposition

Value is not stored.
It is engineered.

A great car can sit beautifully for a decade and remain only a possession. Or it can be restored with judgement, entered with purpose, driven where it matters and documented until its next owner understands exactly why it is exceptional.

The Fund is designed to do the latter—without asking the owner to manage the machinery around it.

Access that becomes provenance

The right lawn.
The right road.
The right result.

From an international rally start to the lawns surrounding the world’s most important concours, the Fund prepares each eligible car for moments capable of increasing knowledge, recognition and market authority.

Target opportunities may include Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, Goodwood, Monaco Historique, Mille Miglia, Le Mans Classic and a carefully selected international rally programme. Entry always remains subject to organiser acceptance and the car’s eligibility.

Two routes · One collection

Enter with capital.
Or bring the machine.

Both routes are intended to create participation in a professionally governed collector-car portfolio, subject to private qualification and definitive documentation.

01

Capital participation

From €10,000.

Enter through capital and gain exposure to the performance of the wider collection rather than one particular car.

  • Shareholder or equivalent position in the final structure
  • Portfolio exposure across complementary motorcars
  • Potential distributions from realised performance
  • Capital at risk; no guaranteed return or liquidity

02

Collector car contribution

Your car becomes the beginning.

Contribute an eligible car at an independently agreed value. The contribution forms the basis of your Fund position and unlocks a car-specific value plan.

  • Independent value, condition and provenance review
  • Restoration, technical preparation and controlled use
  • Scuderia Milano Villa membership eligibility
  • Four included Gala editions while the car remains

The owner’s value machine

One car.
Seven decisions.
No loose ends.

The Fund coordinates the specialist network around the car. Each decision is made against the same objective: preserve the machine, create meaningful provenance and retain the owner’s freedom at exit.

Admit

Title, provenance, condition, eligibility, valuation and investment review establish the starting position.

Design the plan

The technical, event, hospitality and exit strategy is built around the individual car—not imposed from a generic calendar.

Restore & prepare

Specialist restoration, conservation and FIA/Motorsport-level eligibility support are commissioned where they add genuine value.

Move without friction

Insurance coordination, secured storage and white-glove international transport place the car where it needs to be.

Enter & experience

Concours, rallies, private member events and hospitality create a life around the car and the owner.

Document & prove

Every significant invoice, kilometre, entry, image and result enters a controlled provenance dossier.

Sell or reinvest

Take net sale proceeds after agreed fees, or leave a mandate to source and build the next car without starting again.

Turnkey means the bloody works

The car needs a team.
You need one call.

Restoration strategy, engineering, storage, maintenance, insurance coordination, international transport, event preparation, hospitality and owner reporting can be managed as one coherent programme.

Third-party work is approved and funded separately from the Fund’s investment economics. That keeps the accounting transparent while removing the burden from the owner.

Everything around the car

The collector flywheel

A good car enters.
A better story leaves.

The model is not built around passive storage. It is built around a repeatable cycle in which technical quality, access and provenance support stronger market positioning—and the next acquisition keeps the collection alive.

Transparent vehicle account

Restoration, maintenance, insurance, logistics, hospitality and event costs are separately approved and attributable to the relevant car or owner mandate.

Fund & success fees

Fund management, sale execution and sourcing mandates generate agreed fees. The definitive memorandum will set out the structure before participation.

Reinvestment without reset

An owner can retain a budget with the Fund to source, inspect, acquire and—if desired—restore the next car against a new value plan.

The Scuderia Milano privilege

A car in the Fund opens the House.

A qualifying car contributor becomes immediately eligible for Scuderia Milano Villa membership, with the normal House Admission Contribution waived. Definitive membership remains subject to standard onboarding and Club terms.

This places the owner inside the hospitality, community and automotive calendar surrounding the collection—without confusing Fund participation with Club governance.

Foundation 22 Gala evening at Portrait Milano

Foundation 22 · Portrait Milano

Four Gala editions.
One public stage.

The year a qualifying car enters the Fund—and the following three Gala editions—are included while the car remains in the Fund. If a sale completes before 2 September, that year’s inclusion ceases unless separately reserved; a sale on or after the Gala date creates no clawback.

The Gala is more than hospitality. It can become a presentation setting for selected cars, stories and—where appropriate—a carefully structured charitable or specialist sale moment.

The first conversation is about the machine, the owner and the ambition. Participation follows only after valuation, qualification and definitive legal documentation.
