Gino MottaCollectors Car Fund

Owner journal · Chapter one

The first day is not a handover.
It is an excavation.

Before the Fund proposes a future, it establishes exactly what the car is, what it has survived and what the owner wants it to become.

01

The arrival

The transporter door opens.

The car arrives without ceremony. Before it is washed or staged, we record its condition as received: paint, trim, underside, fluids, instruments, numbers, documents, keys and the small inconsistencies that often explain more than the polished surfaces.

The owner may be present, or may choose to receive the first visual report privately that evening. Nothing is dismantled and nothing is promised yet.

02

The table

What should this car become?

A week later, the conversation changes. The car is on screen; archive extracts, market comparables, eligibility rules and technical findings sit beside it. The owner explains the emotional reason for keeping it—and the commercial reason for considering the Fund.

Together we map three possible futures: preserve and present, restore and campaign, or prepare for a considered sale. The chosen route becomes the individual value plan.
